Hi, My husbands name is Roberto Alicea. He has two brothers, Juan Jose Alicea, and David ALicea. Their father is Juan Alicea. Juan Alicea has 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Juan Alicea's fahter was Jobino Alicea who was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico.Jobino Alicea had 10 cildren. Jobinos father Marcos Alicea had 7 children. I have all their names. Marcos Alicea also had an affair and produced a daughter. I have her name also. All these Aliceas related to my husband Roberto were born in Puerto Rico between the years 1880 to present. Also there is a large Alicea family in Passaic, NJ. Were in Belleville. However we still have many, many, many Alicea relatives in Puerto Rico.I'm currently obtaining information of their ancestors.
As said before, the last name Alicea is French (ALICIA) apparently it was changed to ALicea. That is why we can't find the origion of the sur-name Alicea. Marcos Alicea had many sibblings as well. I'm currently researching to attain thier names.
Please send me an e-mail. I have no doubt that in some way were all relatives. It is a pleasure to find other Alicea's researching their ancestors as well. In speaking to my husbands aunt, there are many Aliceas living in Boqueron, Puerto Rico. All relatives of Marcos Alicea.
