The 1930 census show Marjorie H. Alger, age 43, head of household in Winchester, MA. She was born in MA. In the household were James A. Alger, age 19; David M. Alger, age 13 and Juliana Alger, age 3. Marjorie's marital status is given as married. Her father was born in NH and her mother in ME. The children's father's place of birth is given as MA.

I cannot find James Alger and Marjorie in the 1920 census. However, I was able to find a marriage for James Albert Alger (age 30) and Marjorie Hill (age 23), on 8 Sep 1908 in Weston, MA. His residence was given as New York, NY and his occupation as lieutenant US RC service. I am pretty sure that is right but I don't know what that is. Her residence is given as Malden, MA. He was born in Brookline, son of Albert W. Alger and Sarah Williams. Marjorie was born in Malden, dau of James Fred Hill and Lillian E. Bird.

From here, I can get you back to Andrew Alger who died in Saco, ME. Please e-mail me if you would like me to send that to you.
