This is all I have at the moment

Wilson L. Alger was married to Mary (unknown maiden name).

There is a Joseph Hutto listed living with them in 1860 who was 6 years old. Then in 1870 there is a Henry Hutto living with Mary Alger and her daughter Mary Elizabeth. Henry is listed as a farm laborer. No family relationship is noted on these censuses so it is unknown as to how he fits in.

According to pension papers, Wilson came home sick, from the war, and then died due to this illness on 9-1-1863.

They had a daughter named Mary Elizabeth who married Joshua/Jashaway Flowers. They had a large family. The children included (this came from census records so I am likely misspelling and missing some children and the birth order is likely wrong too):

Anna Belle (Gibbs), Thomas, Lula Mae (Holder), Jewel (Odum), Rufus, Addie, Vinson (sp?), Ira, Gertrude, Olvin, and Virgil.

Lula Mae is the line my family is decended from. She was a widow and moved sometime after the death of her husband in 1935. She lived and died in Aurburndale FL but she was buried in or around Adel GA.

I can be contacted at: Yuleeyahoo@bellsouth.net
