Roger Alger, Sr. did not marry (2) Elizabeth Brockway. He married in Lyme, CT 17 MARCH 1711/12 Widow Elizabeth (Innis) Harris-Smith from Block Island, RI. It was her son, William Harris (Jr.) who married Elizabeth Brockway. Samuel Alger did not marry Rebecca Watrous, daughter of Isaac & Sarah (Pratt) Watrous. He married Rebecca, the daughter of Isaac & Elizabeth ( ? ) Watrous who was born in Lyme, CT 10 FEB 1710/11. The first wife of Roger, Sr. is unknown. Regards, Virgil W. Huntley
