I am looking for information about Lyman and Lavinia Alger, they lived in Starksboro Vt.
As far as I know, they had 6 or 7 children. John C Alger who was born in 1865 in Starksboro VT, either was the oldest or next to the oldest son. He married Minnie Shattuck in a civil ceremony Feb 18 1886,in Huntington Vt. John had a brother,Willard. Later on, John had my father with Abbie L Cobb in June of 1914, in Starksboro Vt.
