I'm looking for any information on the family of Cora M. & George N. Alger, from Franklin, NY...later moving to Sidney, New York. I was told they had 17 children, although i've only been able to track down 15/16 names...here's the list:
-George N. Alger(born July 1864...originally from Oneonta...would like to find out his parent's names. i believe they might be Henry & Catherine, but not 100% sure)
-Cora M. (would like to know maiden name...born May 1872)
-Minnie E. (b. Sep 1889)
-Pearl (b. Nov. 1890)
-Vernon N. (b. 1892)
-Elmer (b. July 1894)
-Alva J. (b. June 1895...not sure on name...is a son)
-Wesley (b. Nov 1897)
-Leona M. (my great-grandmother...1900-1988)
-H??? (name is illegible on census...born about 1903)
-Ernest (b. abt 1904)
-Alta (b. abt 1905)
-Myrtle (b. abt 1906)
-Edith (b. abt 1908)
-Clinton (b. abt 1909)
-James H. (b. abt 1910)
-Gertrude (b. abt 1913)
-Albert (b. abt 1915)
So if in fact they did have 17 children O_O i'm still missing 1 name. I beleive Cora may have died between 1915-1920, as she doesn't appear on the 1920 census. I don't have any other death dates, with the exception of my great-grandmother, so ANY information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
