Armstrong Alger is my Great Grandfather on my mothers side following is some information from my family tree.
Armstrong Alger B. Mar 17-1806 Argle County of Washington, N.Y. D. About 1889 in Michigan,U.S.A. M. Minerva Powell Sept 12-1827 in New York, U.S.A. daughter of Felix Powell and Olive Hall. She was B. Apr 12-1812 in Wolfe Island, Ontario, Canada and D. Dec 14-1883 in Escanaba, Michigan, U.S.A. Armstrong & Minerva are in the 1880 U.S.A.,Census at Bark River Delta, Mich. Age 74 & 68. They had 10 children viz., William, Anne, Harvey, Alphonse, James, Washington, Henry, Charles, Elliot and Charlotte. I have their descendant records down to 2005.
