Hello All: I have just recently learnt that I have Algar ancestry. I am descended from Henry Bryant the illegitimate son [acknowleged by his father] of Charles Muskett of Fersfield Farm, Norfolk. One of Charles grandmothers was MARY ALGAR of Fersfield, Norfolk who married Andrew Muskate/Muskett at Roydon near Diss on 1738-11-13 [IGI]. Another researcher has informed me that Mary was born in 1709 and died in 1773. Andrew and Mary's son John Muskett married Mary Hart. One of John and Mary's 11 children was my Gt-gt-grandfather Charles Muskett. I would appreciate any information about MARY ALGAR and how I fit into the ALGAR/ALGER family.
