Absolutely the same family. The Bible was Roldolphus and Cordelia's. Cordelia gave it to Daniel Wellington Potter, her brother.The Bible is in Otsego, N.Y. with the Potter family, my cousins. George Gilbert Potter, Cordelia's younger brother named his son Roldolphus Alger Potter. I knew him when I was just a little guy. We had "five" generations living so that's how I know about the Alger family. They called him "Doll Potter". In fact a couple of the Potters are getting together to try to tie up a few of the loose ends.I think the first Abner may have been a General in the Rev. War. I visited the Hartwick Cem. before.
