Joseph Serrel Alger (b.10-10-1847 d.3-13-1939 was the brother of my grandfather, Alvah Lee Alger (b.1874 d. 1926). They were the sons of Serrel Alger, the son of Lyman Alger. This is is according to my brother, Alvah Lee Alger. Alvah Lee Alger (1874-1926) was the father of my father, Gerrald Donald Alger. I do not know if Alvah and Joseph had any siblings.
