Algers is Otsego County. Record found in the family Bible (present location of bible unknown) Abner Moses Alger (1763-1840) and his wife Rispah (1769-1839) had the following children:
William b. April 23, 1789
Amey b. June 8, 1791
Urania b. June 23, 1793
Rodolphus b. March 14, 1796 Justice of the Peace in 1824 at Mount Vision in Otsego County
George b. March 31, 1797
Horase b. May 31, 1799
Preservance b. August 30, 1802
Pattey b. June 5, 1805
Abner Jr. b. July 18 1808 m. Lurana Potter migrated to West Amoby, New York
