Looking for information on Eliza Alger. I do not have any dates. She married William Hagan/Hagen probably in NC or Ky in the mid-1800's. They had at least 2 children Margaret Ann b. 15 September 1841 and a son Romulus. These children were living with a family named Irwin in Clinton Co., KY in the 1860 census. In 1862 Margaret m. Edward Elmore in Russell Co., KY. Did Eliza and her husband leave these children as orphans???
