I have information about Josiah Alger. He was my great, great, great, great grandfather. He was one of three brothers to come to America from Wales and settled in Massachutesetts. He moved to Bloomfield Ontario County, N.Y. His son Josiah II was born in 1782 and was a twin (Ira). Josiah II had 10 children. He was a soldier in the War of 1812. I do not know the names of all the children, but my great, great grandfathers name was Samuel and one of his brothers name was William. They came to Michigan in 1823. Samuel had three sons, Alvah, Albert, and Charles. Albert was my great grandfather, he had a son and a daughter. My grandfather, Edward, had three children, two sons and a daughter. My father was the youngest, Jack. And I am the youngest of six. I have a sketch of Josiah and Josiah II. if you are interested, I can scan them and e-mail them.
