March 7, 1998, I have the following: (working back-
wards): 1) William ALGOR, b 1379, m Mrs. ALGOR,
and they had: 2) William ALGOR, b 1400, d 3 Mar
1468, m Mrs ALGOR, and they had: 3) Robert ALGER
(ALGOR), b 1435, d 21 Dec 1493. Robert m Margaret
in 1470 and they had: 4) Agnes ALGER, b cir. 1470,
Fitch Castle, Widdington, Essex, England, d bef
25 Dec Widdington, Essex, Englnd, m Thomas FITCH
1490 Panfield, Bocking, Englnd, and they had 5) Roger
FITCH, b cir. 1500 Panfield, Bocking, Essex, Eng-
land, d 12 Jan 1558, Bocking, Essex, Englnd. Roger
m Margaret HUMPHREY 1539, Panfield, Essex, England.
I, then, have the lineage on down to me. However,
the records I obtained do indicate some questions
in the FITCH line and of course this affects the
ALGER (ALGOR) line, at least down to me.
