Looking for information on Elizabeth Rowena ALFORD born 1842 in Miss. Rowena married Benjamin Franklin Hester Aug 8 1857 prob. in Ms. Children of B.F and Rowerna were:James,
Mandanna, Samuel, Joseph, Robert & Louis.All were born in Ms. The family moved to Gonzales Co.,Tex ca. 1879 and were found on the Texas census in 1880. Need to know what county in Ms. they lived in. They were not found in the 1860 or 1870 census index for Ms. We have the Hester bible which contains the following names which are probably siblings of Rowena: John T.,Amanda, Dilphia, James T, Joseph, Mary, Georgeann, Anna A., Eliza, James G. (all Alfords) Any information will be appreciated.
