Fred,
The only Leroy I know associated with LA is one living in Bowie Co. TX but he could not have been married in 1836 as he was not born until 1828-1834. His wife was Martha, possibly Martha WHITE as there was a possible brother listed in their household in 1860. He doesn't appear in our LA or TX 1850 census extractions and is found in TX first in 1860 with wife born SC and children, all of whom were born in TX.
