We show her as Florence Roberta Salena Alford b. in Appleton Feb 2, 1900 and as you say her younger brother was Robert Ellery Alvord. They were children of Herbert Clifford Alvord born In Outagamie County, Wi Sep 15, 1872, married in Ford Co. IL to Jessie Ellen Wood. Herbert was a fireman in Appleton and later lived on a farm about 20 miles out of town. We can trace the family on back through, Ellery, Thomas, Rixon, William, Asahel, Thomas, Thomas to Alexander the immigrant born in England about 1627.

Our association is gathering data to some day update and extend the hugh Alvord genealogy published in 1908 (source of our data for you) and we would appreciate all you can share with us on Alvords.
