Lodowick Herrin Alford of Alabama

Thanks for the information on Loowick H. Alford. I have some further info from the 1900 Alabama census. Lodowick was living with with children (wife must have been deceased) as head of household in Pike County, Alabama (Troy). Children listed were Mattie B. (12/1879), Lod H., Jr. (1/1883), Cora C. (7/1886), William A. (10/1890), Albert A. (8/1892), and sister Margaret Boswell (1/1850). If he had a daughter, Novella, she was obviously married and out of household by 1900.

Thanks,

John Rogers

PS. 1880 census shows him living in Montgomery County with wife Sallie (Swint)and daughter Mattie (age 1). Now I'm really confused about daughter Novella? She may have been born between Mattie and Lod, Jr. around 1881 and married before 1900. Therefore she would not have shown in 1880.
