I am looking into the family of Alford Robinson b. 7 09 1795 in Hambden, MA, who came from Connecticut to Geauga Co. Ohio where he lived in Mont in 1840. He was married to Clarissa Baird of Connecticut, had a son, John, b. CT in abt 1826. In later years, Alford Robinson is called Alfred Robinson, can be found in Claridon and Chardon in Geauga Co. His son John has a daughter, Cora Robinson, m. to Arthur M. Cox in 1903 in Claridon. According to Geauga Co. Marriages, Cora's mother's maiden name was Alford. Can anyone tell me more about these families? I am looking for a connection bewteen Alford/Alfred Robinson and a Hester Ann Robinson (B. Ct abt 1821,) who married James Brooks in Mont in 1841. There were only a few families living in Mont at the time, so that one was Alford Robinson's seems to connect her to that family.
