Looking at the census the wife Cinnet is Sinnet in 1870 census and maybe a second wife married after 1860. In 1860 OH Seneca Co. Big Spring Twsp, Roswell Alford is age 56 (1804)b. NY with an Lombard family in his household. An online gedcom has the the Harriet Lombard as a daughter of Roswell Alford, married Ira A Lombard.
1850 in NY Wayne Co. Lyons Twsp has Roswell Alfred age 56 b. NY with a Charlotte age 58 b. Maine with a Caroline age 22 b. NY and a 13 yr old William Warren also in household.
