www.alfordassociation.org : Do a search of Charles L. Alford and 2 results are found: One the marriage record of Charles and Caroline in Jackson Co. MO and Jackson Co. cemetery information stating Charles L. Alford is the son of James Alford and Margaret Carlisle
They have a code as to the ancestor that has been found Charles is under JAM793VA=James Alford b. 1793 in VA and JOH696MD=John Alford b. 1696 in Maryland.
