The information in my note is about all I know about the Alfords. My great grandfather James Meador's middle name was Alford (sometimes spelled Alfred), so his mother may have been an Alford. I haven't found anything about him except for the marriage records in St. Clair Co., where various Alfords appear. I have found two Alf Meadows, but can't tell if one is him. Sorry I can't help more.
