The parents of John Alford were William & Priscilla Truss Alford. My Ancestor was Isham Alford (William's brother) and Sylvia Ann Hodges a dau. of Louisa Truss and William Hodges, all from St. Clair Co., AL. Do you know of any descendants of any of the Alford line of John or any other children? Do you have any pictures? One of the grandsons of Isham was named Benjamin Meador Alford, & I have always thought that there had to be a Meador family connection.
We would appreciate any information or help that you can give us about this family. I am willing to furnish info about the Alfords. Thank you.
