Terry,
We can tell you several generations back from your grandfather Hubert G. Alford. In 1920, he and his siblings Ruby M. (9), Lillian E. (8), Helen C. (under 1) were living in Prince George Co. VA with their parents James and Dora M. Alford. Both father and mother were Alfords from different branches of the same family that goes back to a John Alford (wife Mary ____) who left a will in Frederick Co. VA in 1748.

Right now we are very busy getting ready for our annual AAFA meeting which will be this year in Paducah, KY, Oct. 9-11. I will send you more information later if you will contact me after October 15.
