Lynn,

I am researching Stricklands in Robeson County trying to find ties to the ones who came to Georgia. I found deeds from Stricklands to Jacob and Sion as well as Strickland deeds witnessed by them. They were also named executors of Joseph Strickland's estate in 1789. It seemed to me that there was a connection.

A Solomon Strickland married 1764 Amy Pace in Edgecombe County. The relationship, if any, could be through the Pace family.

Solomon Strickland was married to Bythe Strickland in 1780 by Ludy Alford ( also known as Tanner).

If you do find a connection, I would appreciate your letting me know.

Thank you,
Faye
