In response to your question about Henrietta Alford, I can add some information. Alford American Family Association records indicate that her name was Harriet "Hettie" Alford. She was the daughter of Stanford Lamb Alford, Sr. and Nancy Smith Alford. Our records show a birth date of March 31, 1844 in Monroe, LA. Harriet married Andrew Jackson Jester, and they had nine children. She was the granddaughter of Haywood Alford who was probably born in Georgia. We do have more information on the descendants of Haywood Alford if you are interested. We would appreciate any information that you might be willing to add about the descendants of Haywood Alford.
