I am the son of alba and lorene alford.originally from shelby co.tx.\granddad's name, alba birdy alford.he is buried in shelby co.county seat, center tx.alba royce, and lorene,buried in henderson, tx. rusk co.I have three brothers royce jr, charles richard,and a twin, james stevan..and one sister, hollie jane .i'am new to this sort of thing, but would like guidance,support, and information of how to trace my family's root's as far back as possible.thanks in advance for your help,any fee will be payed,,if you desire..I reside in longview, tx.75604 mitch alford..138 briarmeadow dr.903-759-7571,born 07-25-57.birthplace,center,tx....as you can tell,,i really don't know what information you might need but would like some kind of responce on how to get started.Thanks for your time,,joe mitchell alford
