M.K.-- According to my notes, Phereby Wooten ALFORD was born ca 1809 in GA and married on 9 Feb 1826 in Taliaferro Co., GA to Dr. Cuthbert G. HUDSON.
Phereby was a daughter of Kinchen ALFORD (born 27 Oct 1779, died by 1815) and his wife Asenath ("Deany"?) WOOTEN, who married 18 Jan 1806 in Greene Co., GA. Asenath's sister, Phereby WOOTEN, married Kinchen ALFORD's brother, Cullen ALFORD, on 10 April 1801 in Warren Co., GA.
Asenath (WOOTEN) ALFORD appears in the 1820 census of Hancock Co., GA, and the 1840 census of Chambers Co., AL. Her will was dated in 1842 in Chambers Co., and lists her four children:

Phereby W. ALFORD b. ca 1809 GA
m. 1826 Cuthbert G. HUDSON
John Rogers ALFORD b. 4 Aug 1810
m. 1834 Amelia Sophronia BEALL

m. 1832 Dr. Augustus R. BEALL
Kinchen ALFORD was a son of James ALFORD, a Rev. soldier who died in Hancock Co., GA on 6 Nov 1812, aged 72 years. James ALFORD's will, dated 29 July 1812, names his wife Luranie, sons Cullen, Kinchen, Allen, and Willie, and sons-in-law Solomon LOCKETT, John BUSH, Collen WOOTEN, and Redmond THORNTON. [Collen WOOTEN was probably a brother of Phereby and Asenath; if so, three WOOTEN siblings married three ALFORD siblings.]
