Dear Mr. Woods, Yes I am a descendant of Hansford Alford. I descend from his daughter Mary Adeline Alford who married Jonathan Knight Roberts. Their daughter Mary Jane Roberts married Elijah James Dobson. These were my g-g grandparents. I was able to get the stone at Swift Creek for Hansford based on his military record. I don't have much past him except his father's name John Alford. Hansford was somewhat educated and I am hoping to one day find more on him. Sincerely, John Burnett
