We show that Rachael Rebecca Alford, daughter of Charles Alford and Mary Tipton married George F. Riddle Feb 25 1841 in Roane Co. TN.

There seems to have been a pretty close connection between this Alford family and the Riddle family. Rachael's next younger brother was named Riddle. An older brother, William married Jane Riddle.

We have several members who descend from Charles Alford and Mary Tipton. In fact two of them are registered to attend our annual meeting and family reunion in Paducah, KY in October. One's from Kentucky and the other from California.

We have no information on the parents of Charles Alford but we are working on it.
