Three brothers who came over from Scotland we think but perhaps England started our line with the first known being Jeptha Alford ca1797-1861. Need info on Jeptha's siblings and ancestor's one of which is suspose to be Benedictus, Alexander, or William just how far back unknown. any info on names Benedictus or Alexander are sufficiently uncommon enough for first names to be worth investigating if you should have any info reply to ALONZAJ@aol.com
