Lynn,
Thanks so much for your quick reply; I'm embarrassed, and should be, as I was typing the query "from memory" before I went out today, and didn't review my notes...Alfords, of course, were not from Overton, but the Siscos (and almost every other ancestor of my moms) were from there.
So, I confused my Thomases...as I don't know the father, for sure, of my Thomas Sisco, father to Sara Jane Sisco. But, I know almost nothing of Thomas H. Alford, except from some sketchy info from another family member, who shows:

Him born in 1833, TN, married to Sara JANE Sisco,:m. ca 1855 Carroll Co. AR(my guess:the Carroll Co. records before 1870's were destroyed, I understand) with the following children:

Franklin L. Alford b. 10 March 1858, m. Sarah Plumlee(another Overton Co. name)-died 26 Jan. 1924

Tennessee Alford b 29 Nov 1859,d.3 Nov.1938,
buried near father in Shady Grove Cemetery(aka Delmar Cemetery) in Carroll Co.

Linda Alsepha Alford,b 25 Oct. 1861 d.16 Mar.
1935 m. Thomas Benton Bell 24 Aug. 1876-buried Dog Branch Cemetery, Carroll Co.

Linda was my greatgreatgrandmother. Her oldest child, Mellie Alsepha Bell, b.1880, was my greatgrandmother, who married Harvey Benton Smith in Boone Co. AR in 1898.

I know that Thomas Alford died in 1913 and is also buried in the Delmar Cemetery, but there's no record in Carroll Co. of Jane's death, except the "family note" that she's buried in Ramsey Cemetery---problem--I can't find a Ramsey Cemetery.

Again, I appreciate your kind response, and will appreciate any information you can share.
