We have much information on ancestors of Levi but I don't know if we know where his children went. I think son or grandson Samuel Newell Alford died in OR. We do have some information and may be able to follow them with census records. Levi was born 14 Apr 1789, Berkshire, MA to Elijah Alford and wife Olive Adams Higley. Elijah and many of his family left MA for OH about 1811. OH was considered the Western Reserve of CT at that time. We would be happy to share all of our information with you.
