My family spelled their name ALESCI. Grandfather could read and write and came over on the ital ss liguria on October 1904. He had four children Katerina, Vita, Michele, and my mother Domenica. His wife, Maria, was pregnant and gave birth in December to Vincenza.
How do you go about writing to the town, how would you address your letter? Any assistance given is appreciated.
