Yes, they did move into GA. The grandson of Simon BARROW, Henry (husband of Gracy Aldridge) moved into Baldwin, Ga. I found records of him handling the estate of his parents 1810-1814. From there they moved to Houston Co., Thomas among them. About 1829, most of Thomas Sr children are living in Houston Co. The daugher Catherine (Cassa) Aldridge FAIRCLOTH lived in GA but different county. As you can see they married their neighbors.
I know that the Barrow family does come out of VA-Isle of Wright to NC, so it is not surprising that your SMITH line does also. Thank you again. What a pleasant surprise.
