Ivan, I've also seen the suggestion that George was descended from royalty. It is reportedly recorded in Cheam Church in England. I have an address to check this out but haven't gotten around to it. The document is supposed to contain the information that George's mother, or grandmother was Mary, daughter of Edward 11 and Isabelle of France. I haven't found an historical account stating that they had a daugher, but I could be overlooking it. Some research I've run accross have us, I assume you're a descendant of George as I am, have the line back to Norway and the 600's. Let me know what you think!
