James "Jimmy" Aldridge, born in VA in 1728, moved to NC with his brothers Ben and William and his oldest son, Waitsel. This info comes from the Avery County Heritage, Vol. 2, page 1. I have access to the book through my fiance who is a descendant of Waitsel's....Jeanne
