This question came up in a news group in October. The writer was trying to establish that line through a descendent of William Aldrich of Norfolk and his daughter Mary, the daughter of Isabella of France and Edward II of England. The proof given in the form of many footnotes tended to make improbable any such connection. If this is the line you are referring to let me know and I will send you the entire answer given at that time.
