Does anyone know the maiden name of Lewella Aldrich, 1st wife of Putnam Aldrich? Putnam was born 27 June 1834 in Franconia, Grafton Co., New Hampshire and died 14 April 1867 in Franconia, Grafton, NH, the son of Alton and Mary (Earle) Aldrich.
Lewella is buried with her husband Putnam in Willow Cemetery, Franconia, NH. Their stone states she died 3 July 1863 at 21 years which puts her birth year around 1842.
They were probably married after 1860 as the 1860 Franconia census shows Putnam as being single at that time.
