Hello David,
Here's what I have regarding the confusing Thayer/Aldrich marriages:
Eber Thayer married Mercy(7) Aldrich, daughter of Jethro(6) and Aldrich and Elizabeth Applebee, on 18 Oct 1821 in Lisbon, Grafton Co., New Hampshire. Mercy(7) was born 11 April 1804 and died 11 March 1851.
Mephiboseth Thayer married Mary(Polly)(7) Aldrich, daughter of Doctor(6) Aldrich and Hannah Quimby, on 2 Sept 1833 in Lisbon, Grafton Co., New Hampshire. Mary(7) was born 31 March 1806 in Lisbon and died 26 Dec 1851 in Lisbon. Her dates of birth and death were taken directly off of her gravestone in Sunnyside Cemetery located at Sugar Hill, Grafton Co., New Hampshire.
Zara Thayer, third son of Levi Thayer and Lydia Haven(s), married Joanna(7) Aldrich, daughter of Doctor(6) Aldrich and Hannah Quimby, on 1 Dec 1839 in Lisbon. Joanna(7) was born 6 Sept 1815 in Lisbon and died 26 Aug 1856.
