Not sure the parentage but I do have some other info. Aldrich was from Boston and left there for California during the Gold Rush (1849) where he sold picks and shovels to miners. He eventually made his way to Hawaii where he was a boarder at Washington Place (Future Home to the Queen). That's how he met and married Elizabeth Holt.
They moved to the Bay Area, (Piedmont), in California in 1866 with their 4 children,(George Albert, William Holt, Anne, Helen). Elizabeth d. oct 27, 1865. W.A.Aldrich d. mar 3, 1892. If you need anything on the Holt's, I'm sure I have it.
