Edward Aldrich: Lost in Vermont

Researching Edward ALDRICH who was born in early 1800's in
Vermont and migrated to Henrietta Twp. Jackson Co. Michigan
in the 1840's. He married 1)Alfreda PEAK 2) Bethina ??.
He died in Michigan in 1890 and is buried in the Fitchburg
Cemetery, Fitchburg, Ingham Co., MI. He and his two wives had
eight children that I know of. Looking for Edward's Vermont
connections. I do not know where he was born in VT. or who his
parents were. Suggestions on where to look in VT. records would
be greatly appreciated.
