My Grandmother was

Nicolas Aldred, b 1900 in Leigh Eng

Her parents were

William Aldred, b 1869 in Leigh Eng
Christine MacKenzie, b 1873 in Kilseth Sct

Williams Parents were

James Isherwood
'Fannie' Aldred Leigh Eng

Fannie's father was
Jeremiah Aldred Leigh Eng

William (according to family rumor) took his mothers maiden name because of some quarrel with his father

Jeremiah Aldred, reportedly was well off, and owned a string of 'row houses' on a street that was named after him 'Jeremiah Street'
