I have James ALDRED, b 1816 Manchester, Lancashire, married Esther Bedggood of Manchester in 1840. They came to Michigan about 1850. James was a dyer and his father, (also named James), was a weaver. Witness at their wedding in Manchester were Robert Aldred and Frances Dawson.
