Finally an Alderton forum! I am looking for people who wish to trade information on the Aldertons from Morgan County, WVA, around Berkeley Springs, WV area, Largent, W.Va., but have many more Aldertons.
My direct line as far as I have gotten so far, goes back to Thomas Alderton, born 1787, married Ann VanOsdal.
His son Abraham Alderton, born 1825, married Elizabeth Simmons.
His son Francis Alderton, born 3/11/1864, married twice--first wife Cora Noland.
Gilbert Virgil Alderton, born 1897, married Bertha Carrel Barrnhart.
I would love to talk to anyone researching Aldertons. Thanks.
