Dear Ernie,
I noticed that you spell your name Alderete and not Aldrete. Our family has always spelled it Aldrete as far back as seven generations. Are you sure you are related to the same clan? If we go far back enough to Spain we are all come from the the progenitor Visigothic Count Alderedo/Aldretedo.Your family history is quite interesting and if you could clue me in on the Ramirez side, more names and dates, etc. My Ramirez line is from the border town Camargo, Mexico going back to the 1700's. It is an interesting note that the Ramirez's were also in pharmacy and one was a doctor in addition to ranching. My family tree is on ancestry.com descendants of Vicente Aldrete from Muzquiz, Coahuila. E-mail me offline.
