Hi Keith, thanks for the information, as I mentioned in my org. post I have very little information on my family history. However, the little that I do know seems to match with the information you have provided.

I'm not sure what I am looking for, however first and foremost I guess I am trying to find out how much of the 'family' tree is still alive. In so far as are there 000's of Alders running around or are there only a few left.

From my fathers side there is only myself and my brother, we have no kids so it pretty much ends there.

So, in all I am just interested to know if my fathers sister is alive or dead, I am assuming dead - given her possible age, did she have kids etc.

I dont know how much you know, how much you have looked into it, yet if you have any basic information that gives some insight into where the 'family' history went (or came from) then it would be much appreciated.
