Hi Walter,

When did Josiah Alday die?

The Revolutionary War pension application of Johnson Womack mentions that in 1781, he went to the widow Alday's house in GA near Waynesborough on the waters of Brier Creek. He was accompanied by Richard Coody [sic, Cody].

Johnson Womack was the son of Jacob Womack, brother of Anne Womack Alday. Richard Cody was the son of James Cody and Sarah Womack, another sibling of Anne Womack Alday.
