I found a piece of info that doesn't fit into my family puzzle (yet); but thought someone else might be able to use some of this:
From "Bible Records, Volume 1, Barbour County, Alabama" compiled by Helen S. Foley of 240 North Randolph in Eufaula and found on pages 7 and 8.....
BARLOW-ALLDAY Bible
Owned by Mrs. O.D. Hooper, Eufaula, Ala.
Marriages:
John Barlow was married to Elizabeth Johnson August 29th 1827.
William Allday and Mary Crocker was married the 20th of Jan 1824.
Jno. C. Thomas and Martha M.A. Virginia Allday were married Tuesday 8:30PM, June 9, 1863.
Wilson Johnson was married Nov. the 8th 1829 to Nicy Alday.
F.J. Allday and Sarah T. Taylor was married July 27, 1856.
Births:
William Allday was born the 1st of Nov 1803.
Mary Crocker was born the 23 of July 1807.
Sarah Barlow daughter of Edmund Barlow born July 8, 1782.
Julia Ann Barlow May 26, 1828.
Mary Ann Barlow Nov 10, 1829
Clarkey Ann Hall Barlow Jan. 8, 1831.
John Williamson Barlow Sept. 20, 1832.
Rebecca Allday 18 Sept 1826.
John R. Allday 19 June 1830.
John Barlow July 7, 1807.
Elizabeth Johnson wife of John Barlow born june 22, 1805.
Benjamin C. F. Allday was born the 25 Dec 1832.
Fedrick I Allday 10 jan 1835.
