Hi Tim

I'm also an Alcorn living in Edinburgh. I've been able to trace my paternal line back to around 1800. Those born after 1850 or thereabouts were born in Edinburgh/Leith and those born before 1850 were born in the Borders area. Do you know where in Scotland your forefathers came from?

Rhona
